Ingredients

Rice, cooked |
3 cups |

Tomato puree |

Ginger-garlic paste |
1 teaspoon |

Cumin seeds |
1/2 teaspoon |

Red chili powder |
1 teaspoon |

Salt |
to taste |

Onions, thinly sliced |

Green chilies, finely chopped |

Garam masala |
1/4 teaspoon |

Fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped |

Oil or ghee [clarified butter] |

| Method |
|
Heat oil or ghee in a pan or kadahi, add cumin seeds and it splutter, now add onions and cook until light brown, add ginger-garlic paste and chopped green chilies and cook for 1 minute. Add tomato puree, red chili powder and cook until oil comes out on the surface. Add rice and stir to coat well. Add garam masala and chopped coriander, stir and cook for 1 more minute and serve. |

I m a bachelor, so i make food that is easy to make and tasty at the same time. I make large batch of rice at a time, put it in a fridge and make lemon rice or tomato rice, whenever i need it.
