Layered Re-Fried Bean Dip

Ingredients
1 Re-fried beans 1 can
2 Bottled thick and chunky salsa 1 cup
3 Romaine lettuce, finely chopped 1 cup
4 Scallions , thinly sliced 2
5 Plum tomatoes, finely chopped 3
6 Red onion,finely chopped 1 small
7 Sour cream 1/4 cup
8 Avocado peeled and finely chopped 1
9 Fresh cilantro, finely chopped 1 tablespoon
Method
Combine 3/4 cup of the salsa with the beans in a small bowl. Layer the ingre- dients in a 1 1/2 -quart clear glass bowl in this order: the re-fried bean mixture, lettuce, scallions, tomatoes, red onion and the remaining 1/4 cup of salsa. Just before serving, place the sour cream in the centre of the dip, top with the avocado, and sprinkle the cilantro.
