| Method |

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat, add onions and garlic and cook until very
lightly browned [for 5 minutes]. Now add tomato puree, diced tomatoes, salt,
pepper and Italian seasoning, bring to a boil and simmer for 45 minutes. Then
add chopped parsley and basil and simmer for further 10 minutes.
