Italian Chicken Sticks

Ingredients
1 Boneless chicken breasts, halved and cut into 1/2-inch strips 8
2 Seasoned breadcrumbs 1 cup
3 Freshly grated parmesan 1/2 cup
4 Dried thyme 1+ 1/2 teaspoons
5 Dried basil 1+ 1/2 teaspoons
6 Dried oregano 1 teaspoon
7 Garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon
8 Red pepper powder 1 pinch
9 Salt 1/2 teaspoon
10 Butter 1 tablespoon
11 Marinara sauce for dipping
Method
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees f. In a plate, combine the bread crumbs, parmesan, thyme, oregano, basil, salt, garlic powder and red pepper. Dip the chicken in the melted butter, then dredge them in the breadcrumbs mixture. Place the chicken strips in a single layer on a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through. Serve hot.

Introduction of the dish
This is a lighter and Italian version of chicken tenders. You can add any seasonings to the chicken you like, by adding them in breadcrumb .
