| Method |
In a large bowl, combine besan,, curd, soda, salt, turmeric powder and warm water to form a thick batter, whisk well to remove all the lumps. Cover and set aside in a warm place for at least 5 hours.
Now add 1 teaspoon of oil and lemon juice into the batter, mix well and pour it in a greased mold and steam for about 15-20 minutes. set aside and let it cool. Cut it into square pieces and place them in a serving plate.
Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat, add mustard seeds and let it splutter, now add green chilies and fry for 30 seconds, pour this over the dhokla, garnish it with chopped coriander and coconut and serve.
