Grated paneer |

| Method |
Heat oil or ghee in a pan over medium-high heat, cut paneer into small cubes,
and deep fry them in hot oil until golden-brown, drain and set aside.
Now to the same pan add cumin, bay leaf, cinnamon and cardamom and let
them splutter, now add onions and cook for 2 minutes, add ginger, garlic and
green chilies and cook until lightly browned. Now add tomatoes, stir, cover
and cook until tender. Add all the powdered spices, milk and curd and cook
over medium low heat until oil comes out on the surface. Now add paneer
pieces and enough water to make the gravy, bring to a boil, cover and cook
over medium-low heat until paneer becomes soft, for about 15 minutes.
garnish it with grated paneer and chopped coriander and serve.
