All purpose flour [maida] |
450 grams |

Ghee or oil |
30 grams |

Sugar |
2 teaspoons |

Milk [warm] |
1 cup |

Yogurt |
1/4 cup |

Salt |
to taste |
| 7 |
Black or white sesame seeds |
1 tablespoon |

Yeast |
1 + 1/2 teaspoons |
| 9 |
Baking soda |
1/4 teaspoon |
| Method |
|
In a bowl, sift maida, now add to it oil, sugar, milk, yogurt, salt, yeast and
soda and mix well add some water and knead to a soft dough. Cover it with
wet cloth and set it aside for 1 hour. Knead well again divide in equal parts
make ball of each part, give it a form of roti, spread some oil and sesame
seeds over and bake it in oven. Serve hot with chhole and green chutney.
