Ingredients

All-purpose flour [maida] |
3 cups |

Oil |
1 tablespoon |

Curd or yogurt |
1/2 cup |

Butter |
2 tablespoons |
| 5 |
Baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon |
| 6 |
Salt |
to taste |
| 7 |
Warm milk |
to knead the dough |
| Method |

Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and knead to a soft dough, cover
with wet cloth and set aside for at least 6 hours. Heat the griddle [tava]
over medium-high heat, roll the rotis, slightly wet the upper surface of the
roti, put it on the griddle and cook, turn and cook on other side. Serve.
