Ingredients

Basmati rice, cooked |

Spinach, blanched and pureed |

Onion, thinly sliced |

Cumin seeds |
1/4 teaspoon |

Ginger-garlic paste |
1/2 teaspoon |

Turmeric powder |
a pinch |

Red chili powder |
1/2 teaspoon |

Garam masala |
1/4 teaspoon |
| 9 |
Salt |
to taste |
| 10 |
Oil or ghee |
1 + 1/2 tablespoons |
| Method |

Heat oil or ghee in a pan, add cumin seeds and let it splutter, now add onions
and fry until light brown. Now add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1
minute. Add turmeric powder, chili powder and salt, stir, now add spinach
puree and cook until thickens. Add rice and toss to coat well with the spinach.
Add garam masala, stir and serve.
