| Method |
|
Heat oil or ghee in a pan over medium-high heat, add cumin seeds , cinnamon,
cardamom, bay leaf, cloves and peppercorns and let them splutter. Now add
onions and cook until translucent, add ginger-garlic paste and cook until
lightly brown. Now add rice, salt, peas and 4 cups of water, bring to a boil,
cover and cook over low heat until all the water is absorbed. Let it rest for
10 minutes and serve.
