| Method |
|
Heat oil in a wide pan over medium-high heat, add cumin seeds and let it
splutter. Now add onions and fry for 2 minutes, add ginger, garlic and green
chilies and cook until light brown. Now add red chili powder, coriander
powder, turmeric powder and salt with 1/2 cup of water, stir and cook until
oil comes out on the surface. Now add well washed rice, potatoes, cauliflower
and 3 cups of water, stir, bring to a boil, cover and cook over very low heat
until all the water has been absorbed. Turn of the flame, and let it rest covered
for at least 10 minutes. Add green coriander, stir and serve.
