Dalia With Vegetables

Ingredients
1 Wheat dalia 1/2 cup
2 Onion, finely chopped 1
3 Green chilies, finely chopped 2
4 Potato, peeled & finely chopped 1
5 Carrot, peeled & finely chopped 1
6 Peas 1/4 cup
7 Coriander powder 1 teaspoon
8 Red chili powder 1/2 teaspoon
9 Salt to taste
10 Ghee or oil 2 tablespoons
11 Cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon
12 Asafetida [heeng] a pinch
13 Lemon juice of 1 lemon
Method
Dry roast dalia in a pan without ghee or oil until light brown. Heat ghee or oil in a pressure cooker over medium-high heat, add cumin seeds and asafetida and let it splutter, now add onions and green chilies and cook until light brown, now add dalia, all washed vegetables, red chili powder, coriander powder and salt with 2 + 1/2 cups of water, cover and cook for 4 whistles, let it open. Add lemon juice and butter and serve.
