Fish , cut into large pieces |

| Method |
|
Rub fish with turmeric and salt .Heat oil in a pan, fry fish until brown.
Heat 2 teaspoon oil in a pan add onion, ginger and garlic and fry for 5 mins.
Now add turmeric powder, salt fenugreek seeds, curry leaves and
thin coconut milk and simmer for 10 mins. Now add fried fish and thick
coconut milk and simmer for another 10 mins.Add lemon juice and
serve with rice.

This is a Bengali fish curry recipe.Fenugreek seeds, also known as methi dana is warm by nature; and it gives some depth of
flavor.Addition of coconut milk makes it even better.
