| Method |
Heat oil in a pan or kadahi, add paneer cubes and fry until brown all over.
Drain and set aside.
Into the same pan, add cumin, bay leaf, cinnamon and cardamom and let it
splutter, now add onions and cook for 3 minutes, then add ginger and garlic
and cook until light brown. Now add tomatoes, stir, cover and cook until
tender. Now add all the powdered spices with 1 cup of water and cook over
medium-low heat, until oil comes out on the surface. Add paneer and peas
together with enough water to make the gravy, stir, bring to a boil, cover and
cook for 20 minutes, until peas becomes tender. Garnish it with chopped
coriander and serve.
