For koftas- Except the cashews and raisins, combine all the ingredients of koftas in
a large bowl, make several small koftas by stuffing each koftas with
cashew and raisins. Now either fry the koftas in hot oil until golden brown
or in oven at 180 degrees C, until golden brown. Set aside.
For gravy - Dry roast cinnamon, cloves and cardamom and powder it. Except oil mix all
other ingredients of gravy with 1/2 cup of water in a food processor and blend
it to a smooth paste.
Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat, add powdered spices and cook for
30 seconds, now add the paste and cook until oil comes out on the surface by
occasionally stirring it, now add 2-3 cups of water and cook on low for 15
minutes.
To serve- Put koftas in a serving bowl, pour the gravy over the koftas, garnish it with
grated paneer and chopped coriander and serve.

of the dish |
|
This is a rich and slightly sweet concoction of paneer. If you
don't like it sweet, just skip the sugar and enjoy.
