Grilled Sandwich

Ingredients
1 Potatoes, boiled and mashed into large pieces 4
2 Bread slices 6
3 Cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon
4 Asafetida [heeng] a pinch
5 Fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped 1 tablespoon
6 Salt to taste
7 Dry mango powder [amchoor] 1/2 teaspoon
8 Ghee or oil 2 tablespoons
9 Butter 1 tablespoon
Method
Heat oil or ghee in a pan over medium-high heat, add cumin and heeng and let it splutter. Now add potatoes and salt, stir and cook on low heat until lightly browned. Add chopped coriander, stir, transfer to a plate and let it cool. Heat the grilled sandwich maker or griddle [tava], spread only one surface of each bread slices with butter. Now place enough potato stuffing on the un- buttered surface, cover with other slice again from the un-buttered surface to make a sandwich. Now grill these sandwiches in grilled sandwich maker and serve.
