Ingredients

Potatoes, boiled & peeled |

Wheat flour |

Onion, finely chopped [optional] |

Fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped |

Asafetida |

Oil or ghee |

| Method |
Combine 3 cups of flour and 1/2 teaspoon of salt together with enough water to
knead to a soft dough. Cover and set aside.
In a large bowl, mash the potatoes well, add onion, chilies, coriander, red chili
powder and salt and mix well.
Make several small balls out of the dough, take one, roll it on the floured
surface, add 1 tablespoon or more of the potato stuffing, close it well, roll
again and then cook on the hot griddle with oil until brown and cooked on
both the sides. Repeat this process with all the balls of dough and serve.
