Clarified butter [ghee] |

Fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped |

| Method |
|
Wash and soak urad in water for at least 4 hours. Rinse, put it in pressure
cooker with water and pressure cook for 4 whistles, let it open.
Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and whole red chilies, and let it
splutter, now add ginger, garlic, chopped green chilies and onions and saute
them until light brown. Now add dal, stir and cook for 5 minutes. Garnish
with chopped coriander and serve.
