Ingredients
1 Toor dal (arhar dal) 1/4 cup
2 Urad dal 1/4 cup
3 Moong dal 1/4 cup
4 Masoor dal 1/4 cup
5 Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
6 Green bell pepper, chopped 1
7 Broccoli, chopped 1 cup
8 Brinjal (eggplant), chopped 1 cup
9 Carrot, chopped 1 cup
10 Celery, chopped 1 cup
11 Tomatoes, chopped 3
12 Onions, chopped 2
13 Green chilies, chopped 4-5
14 Ginger-garlic paste 1 tablespoon
15 Oil 2 tablespoons
16 Fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped 2 tablespoons
16 Red chili powder 1 teaspoon
17 Garam masala 1 teaspoon
18 Ghee 1 teaspoon
Method
Wash all dals and vegetables well, transfer them to the pressure cooker with 3 cups of water and salt and cook for 2-3 whistles. Turn off the heat and let it open. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and let it splutter, now add onions and cook until light brown. Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies and cook for 2 minutes, add tomatoes, garam masala and red chili powder and cook until tomatoes becomes tender. Add cooked dal and vegetable mixture, stir and cook for 2 minutes. Garnish it with ghee and chopped coriander and serve.
