| Method |

Mix all the powdered spices with 1/2 cup of water in a bowl and set aside.
Mash the potatoes with some large chunks left. Heat oil in a pan or kadahi over
medium-high heat, add cumin seeds, asfoetida, ginger, garlic and green chilies
and let it cook for 1 minute. Now add spice paste and cook for 2 minutes, add
beaten curd and cook for 2 minutes, now add potatoes and cook for further 2
minutes. garnish it with chopped coriander and serve.
